{"id":92,"date":"2005-07-27T06:33:37","date_gmt":"2005-07-27T11:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.selfinvestors.com\/tradingstocks\/?p=92"},"modified":"2018-08-11T21:40:28","modified_gmt":"2018-08-12T02:40:28","slug":"notable-earnings-july-27th-before-the-bell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/selfinvestors.com\/tradingstocks\/company-earnings\/notable-earnings-july-27th-before-the-bell\/","title":{"rendered":"Notable Earnings: July 27th Before the Bell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Short on time this morning, so I&#8217;m going to try and run these quickly&#8230; Again, I&#8217;m going to organize these posts by total rank (the ranking is a proprietary rank of SelfInvestors.com which combines a fundamental and technical score, for information on the ranking and the SelfInvestors.com database, <strong>please see this page<\/strong>.)&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Rank (51\/60)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Top ranking stock to report earnings this morning is <strong>RPC Inc (RES)<\/strong>, and oil services company.&nbsp; The company beat estimates by .02\/share and is reporting a revenue increase of 19% and earnings increase of 59%.&nbsp; The stock is currently working the right side of a base as volume increases.&nbsp; Look for resistance at 20.&nbsp; No change to report premarket.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Rank (51\/60)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>RPC Inc (RES)<\/strong>, and oil services company beat estimates by .02\/share and is reporting a revenue increase of 19% and earnings increase of 59%.&nbsp; The stock is currently working the right side of a base as volume increases.&nbsp; Look for resistance at 20.&nbsp; No change to report premarket.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Par Technology (PTC),<\/strong> a hardware, software and services provider to the hospitality and retail industries has had quite a run, more than doubling in the last 5 months.&nbsp; Yesterday, the company bounced off support of the 50 day moving average for the first time since breaking out and will need a strong earnings report to remain above.&nbsp; Looks like the company is reporting solid but unspectacular results, with a 71% increase in earnings and 19% increase in revenue.&nbsp; The company did beat estimates by .03\/share.&nbsp; No change to report premarket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Rank (50\/60)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Aspect Medical (ASPM): <\/strong>This is a company i&#8217;ve had my eye on for some time.&nbsp; They develop an anesthesia monitoring system to assess consciousness during surgery.&nbsp; Ist time profitable in &#8217;04, with accelerating growth in recent quarters.&nbsp; The company beat estimates this morning by .02\/share and is guiding Q3 higher.&nbsp; The stock broke out on April 21st, but has been hovering around support of the 50 day moving average lately.&nbsp; It is a highly volatile stock, no not for the feint of heart!&nbsp; No movement premarket to report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Rank (49\/60)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Iris International (IRIS):<\/strong>&nbsp; A designer, developer, manufacturer of vitro diagnostic equipment, IRIS has posted huge growth in the last year after after losing money in &#8217;03.&nbsp; Technically, the stock continues to look strong as it trends along the 50 day average (where it sits now.&nbsp; A bounce off support may offer an opportunity to add a small position.&nbsp; The company hasn&#8217;t reported earnings yet this morning.<\/li>\n<li><strong>T. Rowe Price (TROW):<\/strong>&nbsp; The investment managers have had a nice run and T.
